Cyanotype -Making a Print
Once you have coated your paper you are now ready to make a print - in this demonstration natural objects have been used but it is the same principle if you are using negatives or acetates.
Difference between the prints?

Looking at these two print you can see that the images on the left has been under the glass -this has provided more contact from the flowers to the paper giving crisper edges.
The print on the right the flowers have been placed on top but not secured - this has resulted in the images having softer edges as the light has been able to get between the spaces between the flower and the paper.
Which do you prefer?
When working with negative and acetate its recommended to cover with glass to increase detail and protect your negative/ acetate
